Tumble Monkeys Pre-school Movement Education Program

We feel that every child should have the opportunity to explore a wide variety of movement
concepts and skills in a safe and positive learning environment.  Each lesson is geared toward
developing the child's self-esteem  and confidence.  The lessons build over the weeks as the
children learn rolls, jumps, balancing, stretching and other motor activities. 
Each class meets once a week for 1 hour.




Spider Monkeys (walking -3 Years)

A playful parent/tot class centered around age appropriate developmental movements with
strong emphasis on socialization and group movement.



Chimpanzees (3 Year Olds)

With mountains to climb, vines to swing on, and tramps to jump
on your playful chimps are on their own.  More physically
challenging skills give the children stronger
bodies and sharper minds, as well as a clear understanding of their
bodies' capabilities and limitations.



Gorillas (4 and 5 Year Olds)

At this stage it is so important to allow the children to explore their
 capabilities in a  supervised setting.  A time for their physical challenges to be monitored for safety
and that their attempts are rewarded so risks become exciting and "failed attempts" are seen for what
they are ...learning experiences.

 
RECREATIONAL GYMNASTICS:  6 & up

These classes include instruction on all Olympic events and are divided by age and ability. 
The program is structured so that gymnasts are rewarded as they progress through
our in house levels.  Every 3 months there will be a parent viewing and your child will be recognized
for their accomplishments.  Classes meet once a week for one hour.




Beginner (Levels 1-4)

These first four levels will provide your child with a comprehensive foundation with which to develop
sound basic skills, strength and flexibility. 

 

Advanced Beginner (Levels 5 & 6)

Advanced Beginner classes are for those gymnasts who have passed
through our  beginner levels or have been placed in these classes
by a SonRise head instructor. These classes also have an emphasis
on strength and flexibility, however will expand  on the fundamentals
learned in levels 1-4.




Intermediate (Levels 7 & 8)

The Intermediate levels provide an introduction to more dynamic skills.  These classes are for those
 who have  gymnastics experience and have mastered the basic skills of gymnastics, or have been
placed in this class by a SonRise head instructor. 



Advanced (Levels 9 & 10)

For those who have handstands, walkovers and handsprings on the floor, hip circles on bars
and cartwheels on beam (girls) and boys who have had some experience on the equipment. 
These levels are designed to prepare your child  for our  team program.

TUMBLING & TRAMPOLINE

For boys and girls who want to work only on trampoline
and tumbling skills.  This class focuses on jumping and flipping your
way to greater kinesthetic awareness.  This is a great class for those just

HOMESCHOOL PROGRAM

This program is specifically designed for homeschool students.  Our classes are offered during
the day and can be used as a physical education class for your child.  These classes include
